There's nothing more important than having a place to go within our home to meet God daily free of distractions. It is through our prayers and consistency with Him that we hear His voice the most. From there - purpose, healing, restoration, peace, authentic relationship and so much more is birthed as we cultivate an intimate God-first life.

I will design a space in your home where you can connect with the Lord daily. You can, of course, meet the Lord in any room! There is no limit on the many ways He speaks! But this space will be for the sole purpose of your quiet time with Him.

THE PROCESS

Pre-Work

Once the questionnaire is received with requested photos + video, a 30-minute phone consultation will be scheduled.

Onboarding

After our consultation, a full contract will be sent, along with invoices + a welcome packet with what to expect while we work together.

The Fun Part!

Shopping begins! We will communicate via Asana, a free project management tool to keep us on track + organized.

Design/Launch

Design day! Dominique will come to your home to create your beautiful and simplistic prayer space to meet God daily.

FLOATING NEST CHAIR

The unique design of these beautiful chairs provides a peaceful solace for you to curl up (literally) with your bible or journal — the cocoon effect generates a feeling of protected comfort.

Chaise lounge

These are beautifully designed for one person to stretch out upon, making them perfect for reading or praying. Structurally, they are essentially sofas with the backrest at only one end.

Oil Diffuser

Oil diffusers are great to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. They fill the air in a room with tiny, breathable particles of essential oils - giving the room a calmer and relaxing atmosphere.

These plants cascade beautifully down your nightstand, bookshelf, hanging pot or any place we find fitting. Care is very easy — it prefers indoor bright indirect light which is great for a prayer space, but can tolerate low light settings.

Hanging plant

These are beautiful in any space! Hanging a plant is a way to maximize your space to spend time with God daily.

REAL Floor plant

Floor plants can range from a peace lily plant to a white bird of paradise plant depending on what’s available in season. These will be medium to large plants that enjoys low to medium light. These plants can thrive in areas with less light, and have very low maintenance.

Faux plant

Certain faux plants can give a similar aesthetic as the real thing! In case you are still unsure of whether you are ready to be a plant parent or not, an artificial plant is for you.

Prayer box

These are beautiful pieces to add to your prayer space! You can submit prayers into the box and even have your friends join in! Once you open it, you can reflect and marvel at all the ways God has been with you.

I love opening my gratitude jar at the end of the year to reflect on all the beautiful ways God has blessed me over the past 365 days. Whether it's a person, a kind act, or a positive detail in your everyday life, write it down on a slip of paper and stick it in your gratitude jar.

Sometimes your space may need a signature touch. A small succulent to add some greenery, a decorative storage container to get a bit more organized or maybe a warming plate to keep your coffee hot. As I shop, I will find items custom to your space depending on the amount that you give me.

why do i need a prayer space?
“But when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut the door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly” Matthew 6:6.

Life is noisy and it is busy! There’s a million different distractions. There's nothing more important than having a space within your home to go to meet God daily free of distractions. From there purpose, direction, healing, restoration and the true peace that we seek is found through intimate relationship with our Creator.
what is a custom prayer system?
Wall decor custom made for you. A simple visual to inspire a consistent prayer life! It is an effective system based on Philippians 4:6-7 “...but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And then the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and minds in Christ Jesus''. Each corner of the system will represent a point in Philippians 4:6-7.
how much is the installation fee?
There will be a $50 charge. This only applies to the Hanging Handwoven Cotton Macramé Hammock Chair.
will the designer take covid-19 precautions?
Yes. The designer will wear a face mask that covers nose and mouth at all times. The designer will change into sanitized shoes upon arrival and will sanitize upon leaving.
what should i expect after i submit my questionnaire?
A free 15-minute phone consultation will be scheduled within 1-3 business days. After consultation, the designer will expect a response within 3 days whether you would like to proceed. Upon confirmation, the designer will send a contract, welcome packet and invoice for deposit.
what should i expect after paying the deposit?
The designer will assign easy homework through a project management tool called Asana to have a space to communicate, to set reminders and keep you up to date on the process.
how long will it take to finish my prayer space?
Schedules will vary! But after paying the deposit, the designer will need 7-10 calendar days to shop. After items are purchased, design day will be scheduled within 3-5 days.
how do i add items that aren’t listed?
Choose “Signature touch” and indicate the items you are interested in. The designer will shop depending on your budget.
will the designer clean the space first?
No. Designer requires space to be prepped and cleaned prior to arrival. There will be a $75 cleaning fee invoiced if space requires cleaning.
will the designer organize the space?
Designer will do light organizing. If a desk or bookshelf needs full organizing, add the “Dom, organize my life” service!
